The StreamElements media player is a Tab you can add. It exists of an overview of your StreamElements media requests and a built-in media player to play the requests. On top of that there is a feature included that will automatically resume playing media requests if they get interrupted by another sound alert.
Make sure Stream buddy is already connected to StreamElements in the Connections screen.
Go to Tabs and add the new tab of type StreamElements media requests. After that in order to use media requests, Stream buddy does need the StreamElements JWT token. You can quickly go to the correct StreamElements webpage to copy it by pressing the link in the explanation.
On this page you can also setup the automatic resume of media requests as well. Set an amount of seconds before the media request start playing again automatically. Typically you want to take a look at the length of your alerts and maybe assume there’s some text to speech behind that as well. Do keep in mind that if you set this too short and an alert is still playing, the alert will be cut off.
You can also setup a delay when new media requests come in, to avoid that the new media share cuts off the donation alert.
Once you press the Play button, the media player will be in play mode, and as soon as a new media share comes in, it will automatically start playing. You can press that button again to put the player in Pause mode. The player will not play any requests until you press Play again. There is also a button to skip the currently playing media request.
There are two tabs where you can see the currently queued up requests and a History tab where you will see the last 100 requests that played.
