You can setup text to speech to read chat messages out loud. There is a whole array of settings you can chose to set this up the way you like. You can for example use this to listen to chat while driving, or set it up so mods can reach you through text to speech.
Note that emotes are not read by text to speech.
Note that all the ignore/allow settings can be combined together.
Enabled text to speech
Turn on text to speech with this setting. Note that you can also turn text to speech on/off with a toggle button on the Streamboard.
Volume
Setup the volume for text to speech. This can also be controlled through a slider button on the Streamboard.
Ignore prefix
Any messages with this prefix will not be read by text to speech.Can be for example used to ignore commands being read out loud.
Ignore users
Any message from these users will not be read by text to speech. Can be used to exclude bot accounts for example.
Ignore mentions
Any messages starting with @ where chatters are replying to each other will not be read out loud.@ mentions with to the streamer will still be read out loud.
Allow prefix
With the allow prefix you can have text to speech only read messages that start with a certain prefix.
Allow users
Only allowed specific users to use text to speech.
Allow roles
Only allowed specific roles to use text to speech. Current options are: Moderatos, VIPs and Subscribers.
